PM: Govt has to speed up work on law for investment protection

MOSCOW, Mar 22 (PRIME) -- The Russian government has to speed up work on a bill to protect investment and improve investment activity, whose deadlines are missed, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said on Friday at a government meeting.

The government started its work on the bill a long time ago. “We have to summarize the results, as, strictly speaking, we have already missed all the deadlines that we’ve set for ourselves for preparation of the bill,” he said.

He suggested that lawmakers should flesh out the bill during the Friday meeting so that it is ready for submission to the government.
